For small business owners running their own Twitter ads, the last week has seen some of those overseas with the most recent app, being able to access a graph icon on their profile pages – which allows access to a mobile version of Twitter Ads manager. For those on the go – this could be a handy feature! According to Napier Lopez’s article published on TheNextWeb.com, Twitter tends to test new features, so not all users may be provided access to this button presently. However, it could be the forecast of potentially helpful changes to come.
Previously, to access Twitter Ads from mobile, you had to troll through options in your settings – so this is a time saver! Unfortunately new campaigns can’t be created (unlike ads.twitter.com) but the mobile-friendly app lets you to control campaign timings, optimise budgets or bids, and check campaign performance.
With recent Sensis data reported (a few blog entries back), indicating that Twitter stats had somewhat declined – this could represent a move by Twitter, to make advertising easier for users, to more conveniently control campaigns, and in turn hopefully increase their advertising spend. We’re interested to see if this becomes a permanent feature also offered to Australian users. Time will tell!
